William was born in 1804 in Coggeshall Essex.  William's father was Amos and his mother was Elizabeth (of Earls Colne).  He was an only child.  He died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 76 on August 3rd, 1880 in Bocking Workhouse.1 




William's first family

William and Susanna were married in a religious ceremony on May 24th, 1825 in Coggleshall. They had a son named James.

William and Martha were married in a religious ceremony on July 19th, 1830 in Coggleshall. They had seven sons and three daughters, named William, Henry, George, Charles, Arthur, John, David, Jane, Mary and Sarah.
