Sidney Ignatius SPALDING

Sidney Ignatius was born on March 2nd, 1861. Sidney Ignatius' father was John Barton SPALDING and his mother was Mary Ann PATE. His paternal grandparents were James Ignatius SPALDING and Julia Ann MONTGOMERY; his maternal grandparents were Allen PATE and Mary Ann ORAM. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named George Lawrence, Simon (Simeon), Louis Brooks, Joseph Edward, Alford Julian, Daniel Walter, Martin John, Mary Clementine, Frances Perlie, Mary Melvina and Emma Lucinda. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 32 in 1893.
