    Benj. Allen Pate.'s mother was Mary Oram dau of Samuel and Mary Oram of Clark Co. KY. Samuel died in KY, but Mary Oram moved to Monroe Co., IN where she died. My gr-grandmother was Benj. and Permelia's dau, Mary Ann, who marr. Thomas Nicholas Jackson in in 1872 in Daviess Co.,IN.  I joined DAR on Thomas Pate of Bedford Co.,VA. Have several early wills etc.  Linda Knapp
