Jane. He died at the age of 76 on December 21st, 1901.

This man also left a will showing he died on 21st December 1901. He was a farmer of Lislea and left his wife Nancy Gordon his farm until her death at which point it went to his son, William Johnston, as long as he "behaved" and married someone approved by his mother!. If he didn't, the farm was to go to another son, Robert "who is in America" as long as he came home and farmed it. A third son, John Maxwell, got £10, while a fourth, Thomas York got £5.

Probate of the Will of Thomas Gordon late of Lislea County Londonderry Farmer who died 27 December 1901 granted at Londonderry to William Toghill (Junior) and William H. M'Kay Farmers.
His obit states that he spent some time in America before returning to Lislea to farm.
