Helllo Boyd,
Seems strange to call you that as I have two other relations called Boyd. Boyd senior is living in America, he is my first cousin, a son of Jean boyd daughter of Alfred Boyd who was head master of Cullycapple school.  The other Boyd is his sister's eldest son who lives in the south of Germany!
I am scanning the history of the Boyds that I have, it appears to have been done in 1947 by Jean Telford who was a daughter of Kennedy Boyd. I  hope you find it interesting!
I will look through the death announcements that I have, in the early days they put who sent wreaths and maybe I can find a Brewster!
My Mother was Kathleen Boyd, they have copied her birth certificate wrongly in the records, her middle names were Bryce Kennedy and not Boyce.  Her Father recorded the birth and called her Catherine, she was not aware of this until she was well in her forties!!
