Samuel C. Wray

Samuel was born on December 13th, 1878 in Pennsylvania.¹

Samuel's father was William Wray and his mother was Eliza C. Chittick. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Alexander Wray and Rebecca Steen; his maternal grandparents were John Chittick and Jane Devitt. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, George and Annie. He was the youngest of the four children. He died from a heart attack, myocardial infarction, arterio sclerosis, at the age of 71 on March 17th, 1950 in Fountain Hill. The funeral took place on March 21st, 1950 in East Bangor and was arranged by Horton Funeral Home. He was buried on March 21st, 1950 in East Bangor.²³⁴
