Catherine (Kate) Hamilton Stalker 
Catherine, known as Kate, was born in 1850 in Paisley.1 2 Kate's father was John Stalker and her mother was Catherine Hamilton. Her paternal grandparents were John Stalker and Margaret Reid; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Hamilton and Catherine Ferguson. She had three brothers and a sister, named John, Hugh, Peter and Maggie. She was the second oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 78 in 1928 in Troon.- Death Notes
