Matthew Reid

Matthew was born in 1854 in Ayr.¹

Matthew's father was Alexander Reid and his mother was Ann McKinlay.  His paternal grandparents were Adam Reid and Catharine Fulton. He had three brothers named William, Alexander and Thomas.  He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Adam, Jane and Catherine.
