Margaret Campbell Reid

Margaret was born in April 1841 in Newton-on-Ayr.^1 2   Margaret's father was Archibald Reid and her mother was Catherine Cuthbert.  Her paternal grandparents were Adam Reid and Catharine Fulton. She had a brother and four sisters, named Adam, Catherine, Mary, Agnes and Helen.  She was the second oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 88 in 1929 in Ayr.
