Mary McQueen

Mary was born on December 27th, 1854 in Kilbrandon-Kilchattan.¹   Mary's father was Alexander McQueen and her mother was Julia Carmichael.  Her paternal grandparents were John McQueen and McDougall; her maternal grandparents were Lachlan Carmichael and Mary McIntosh. She had four brothers and a sister, named John, Duncan, Alexander, Allan and Catherine.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died as an infant, gangrene of the abdomen, duration 8 days, at just 16 days old on January 12th, 1855 in Easdale.¹
