Thomas' father was Thomas Morrison McPike and his mother was Agnes McTaggart Mcclelland. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Richard, James, Robert, Margaret, Helen and Isabella.  He was the third oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 75 on September 13th, 1941 in Ayrshire.
