Isabella's father was Thomas Morrison McPike and her mother was Agnes McTaggart Mcclelland. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Richard, Thomas, James, Robert, Margaret and Helen.  She was the youngest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 64 in 1938 in Kilmarnock.
