Janet Henderson

Janet was born on April 21st, 1788 in Falkirk and her baptism took place there on July 13th, 1788.¹

Janet's father was James Henderson and her mother was Jean Aitken.  Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Henderson and Elizabeth Marshall; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Aitken and Margaret Addie. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Michael, Robert, Jean, Jean, Margaret and Helen.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.
