Andrew Findlay

Andrew was born on August 22nd, 1790 in Kilsyth and his christening took place there on August 29th, 1790.¹

Andrew's father was William Finlay and his mother was Agnes Hanna.  His paternal grandparents were Andrew Findlay and Margaret Semple. He had four brothers named John, William, Thomas and David.  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died due to a medical problem, fever, at the age of 62 on August 12th, 1853 in Kilsyth.  He was buried on August 14th, 1853 in Kilsyth.^2 3
