Peder was born in 1772. Peder's father was Christen Andersen Høstgaard and his mother was Karen Andersdatter.  His paternal grandparents were Anders Christensen Høstgaard and Karen Christensdatter; his maternal grandparents were Anders Jensen Møller and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Anders, Peder, Kierstine and Christine.  He was the second oldest of the five children.  He died at the age of 1 in February 1773.  He was buried on February 27th, 1773.
