David Beatson

David was born on November 9th, 1869 in Edinburgh and his baptism took place there on January 16th, 1870.¹

David's father was William Beatson and his mother was Isobella Terrace. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Terrace and Isabella Johnston. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John, William, Alexander, Isabella, Jane, Elizabeth, Margaret and Georgina. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
