William Häh-shäh'-rêhs, meaning "the stream over full"; the second was Sêhs'-täh-rôh, meaning "bright," was born about March 5th, 1799.  William Häh-shäh'-rêhs, meaning "the stream over full"; the second was Sêhs'-täh-rôh, meaning "bright,"'s father was William S Anderson taken by indians Walker (Wyandot adopted) Sr and his mother was Catherine Montour Turtle Clan Rankin (Wyandot).  His paternal grandparents were John Houston Walker IV and  Mary Anderson or Long or Nancy Tandy; his maternal grandparents were James Rankin (Wyandot adopted) and Mary Montour (Big Turtle Clan of Wyandots). He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Rankin, Matthew Rankin, Joel, Walker, Isabel and Maria Rankin.
