Maria Rankin Walker

Maria Rankin was born on October 8th, 1807. Maria Rankin's father was William S Anderson taken by indians Walker (Wyandot adopted) Sr and her mother was Catherine Montour Turtle Clan Rankin (Wyandot). Her paternal grandparents were John Houston Walker IV and Mary Anderson or Long or Nancy Tandy; her maternal grandparents were James Rankin (Wyandot adopted) and Mary Montour (Big Turtle Clan of Wyandots). She had five brothers and a sister, named John Rankin, William Häh-shäh'-rêhs, meaning "the stream over full"; the second was Sêhs'-täh-rôh, meaning "bright,", Matthew Rankin, Joel, Walker and Isabel.
