Capt John Overton (E3b is now E1b1b1 CLAN 2)

John was born in 1730. John's father was Capt James Overton and his mother was Elizabeth Garland. His paternal grandparents were William De Overton (E3b is now E1b1b1 CLAN 2) Sr and Mary Elizabeth Waters; his maternal grandparents were Edward Garland Sr and Martha Jane Hensley. He had two sisters named Barbara Ann and Anne Nancy. He is the youngest of the three children.
