Thomas Mason Marshall

Thomas Mason was born on December 5th, 1914 in Martinsburg, WV. Thomas Mason's father was Phineas Daniel Marshall and his mother was Margaret M. Hoffman. His paternal grandparents were Mason Marshall and Mary Hollida Folk. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Howard Leslie, Charles Mason, David Forester and Dorothea Evelyn. He died due to self-inflicted strangulation by hanging at the age of 34 on September 30th, 1949 in Denver General Hospital, Denver, CO. He was buried on October 7th, 1949 in Elmwood Cemetery, Shepherdstown, WV-Lot 485.

General Notes
- The obituary, which appeared in the Martinsburg Journal on 3 October 1949,
  indicated Tommy was employed as a clerk with the Union Pacific Railroad in
  Denver and his only immediate survivors were his father and mother.
