Thomas was born on January 19th, 1761 in Tinicum Twp, Bucks Co, PA.  Thomas' father was Edward the Walker Marshall and his mother was Elizabeth Meaze Weiser.  His paternal grandparents were unknown Marshall and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Nicholas Weiser and <Unknown>. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Edward, Frederick?, William, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Moses, Martin, edward had 21 children, Peter, Catherine, Elizabeth, Jemima, Naomi and Amy.
