Sarah Jane Marshall

Sarah Jane was born on November 11th, 1859 in Stringtown Community, Newton county, Texas. Sarah Jane's father was John Robert Young Pap Marshall and her mother was Morning Caroline Madie Jordan (Chickasaw PROB). Her paternal grandparents were Mathew Marshall and Mary Ann Polly McCullar McCullough; her maternal grandparents are Henry A Jordan and Mary Ann Roberts. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named James Mathew Jim, Daniel David Dan, Isaac Spruill ? Hall, William Marion, Thomas Clayborn Claiborne, Henry Houston, John Robert Tom?, Asa Green, Sarah Jane, Mary Elizabeth S and Mary Elizabeth S. She is the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She has three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Alston, Curtis W, Reuben and Mary Ann Polly.
