Robert Pleasant was born on April 2nd, 1836 in Washington Co AR.  Robert Pleasant's father was Squire John Marshall and his mother was Elizabeth Brown.  His paternal grandparents were Robert M Marshall Sr and Elizabeth McMillin McMullen??  LEWIS?? McMillian; his maternal grandparents were John Brown and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William B, James C, John D, Margaret A, Martha Jane and Sarah Elizabeth.  He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
