George Marshall

George was born on November 7th, 1798 in Warren Co., NC. George's father was Lt Isaac C Marshall (POSS) and his mother was Mary Foote. His paternal grandfather was Col poss John Marshall and his paternal grandmother is poss Ann Berry; his maternal grandparents were Henry Alexander Foote and Margaret Colclough. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named John Foote, Henry Foote, William B, Joseph P, Richard, Thomas W, Franklin Eleazar, Theophilus, Ginsey Jane, Margaret, Behethland Hethey and Elizabeth. He is the eighth oldest of the thirteen children.
