Eliza was born in October 1800 in VA.  Eliza's father was Capt Francis Marshall Jr and her mother was Phebe Hatcher.  Her paternal grandparents are Francis Marshall and Mary Thompson. She had a brother and two sisters, named David, Nancy and Jane Branch.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 73 on May 16th, 1874 in Ritchie Co WV.
