Walter 5th Earl of Pembroke Marshal

Walter 5th Earl of Pembroke was born in 1196. Walter 5th Earl of Pembroke's father was Earl William the Protector de Marshall and his mother was Isabel De Clare. His paternal grandparents were John FitzGILBERT le MARECHAL; `the Marshall'; (of Rockley) and Sibile Sibyl De Vere Deever D'evereaux; his maternal grandparents are Earl Richard FitzGilbert Stongbow of Pembroke De Clare and Aoife MacMurrough. Earl John of Warwick Marshall and <Unknown> are his grandparents through his father's adoption. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William 2nd Earl of Pembroke, Richard 3rd Earl of Pembroke Lord Justice of Ireland, Gilbert le 4th Earl of Pembroke, Anselm 6th Earl of Pembroke, Maud Matilda Countess Warenne, Eve de, Isabel Le, Joan and Sybil. He died at the age of 49 in November 1245.
