Thomas Lewis

Thomas was born about 1761 in Augusta Co., Va. Thomas' father was Col William of Greenbriar Lewis and his mother was Anne Montgomery. His paternal grandparents were John pioneer Lewis and Margaret Lynn. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, John, Alexander, William J, Charles W, Margaret Lynn, Agatha and Elizabeth Montgomery. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
