Hugh (le Pacifique) of Burgundy II 
Hugh, known as le Pacifique, was born in 1084 in Burgundy, France.1 Le Pacifique's father was Duke of Burgundy Eudes (The Red) Capet-Burgundy I and his mother was Sibylle de Bourgogne de Macon. His paternal grandparents were Henry Capet-Burgundy and Sibylle Borrel; his maternal grandparents were Count of Burgundy William (The Great) de Macon I and Stephenie Etienette de Longwy. He had a brother and three sisters, named Henri, Helie, Alice and Florine. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 59 in 1143 in Saint-Nicolas-les-Citeaux, France.1 General Notes
Duke of Burgundy
He was duke of Burgundy between 1103 and 1143. Hugh was son of Eudes I, Duke of Burgundy. He married about 1115 to Felicia-Matilda of Mayenne, the daughter of Gauthier, Count of Mayenne, and Aelina de Presles. He was succeeded by the eldest of his six sons.
