Joscelin de Louvain

Joscelin was born in 1121 in Louvain, Brabant, Belgium.¹ Joscelin's father was Duc Godefroi de Louvain I and his mother was Comtesse Ida de Namur. His paternal grandparents were Comte Henri de Louvain II and Adele de Betuwe. He had a brother and two sisters, named Godefroi, Adeliza and Ida. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 59 in September 1180 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.²
