Alice de Clare (Adeliza de Clare) 
Alice was born in 1115 in Tunbridge, England.1 Alice's father was Lord Richard Fitzgilbert de Clare and her mother was Adeliza de Meschines. Her paternal grandparents were 1st Earl of Pembroke, Earl de Clare, Abbot of Ely Gilbert FitzRichard de Clare and Adeliza de Clermont; her maternal grandparents were Earl of Chester Ranulph (de Briquessart) de Meschines III and Countess of Chester Lucia Taillebois. She had a brother and a sister, named The Good and Roesia. She was the oldest of the three children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Roger and Isabel. She died at the age of 33 in 1148 in England.1 -
