Gwyn ap Ednowain

Gwyn was born in 1035 in Llys Y Coed, Cilcain, Flintshire, Wales.¹   Gwyn's father was Ednowain (Feiniad) ap Cynan and his mother was Gwerfyl verch Llydocca. He had six brothers and a sister, named Madog, Goronwy, Blettrws, Rotpert, Maredydd, Gruffydd and Ceinfryd.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.
