Goronwy ap Ednowain

Goronwy was born in 1024 in Llys Y Coed, Cilcain, Flintshire, Wales.¹   Goronwy's father was Ednowain (Feiniad) ap Cynan and his mother was Gwerfyl verch Llydocca. He had six brothers and a sister, named Madog, Blettrws, Rotpert, Maredydd, Gwyn, Gruffydd and Ceinfryd.  He was the second oldest of the eight children.
