Phillip was born in 1649 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.1   Phillip's father was William Weeden and his mother was Abigail Bailey.  His maternal grandparents were Clement Weaver and Rebecca Holbrook. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James, John, William, Jeremiah, Joseph, Thomas, Hannah and Phoebe.  He was the third oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 78 on March 19th, 1727 in Jamestown, Newport, Rhode Island.1
