Abigail was born in 1630 in , Glastonbury, Somerset, England and her baptism took place there.1   Abigail's father was Clement Weaver and her mother was Rebecca Holbrook.  Her maternal grandparents were William Holbrook and Edith Saunders. She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Stephen, Clement, James, Rebecca, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Lydia, Deborah, Phebe and Susannah.  She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  She died in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.1
