Lucy Ann was born on March 28th, 1867 in Taylor Co., KY. Lucy Ann's father was Hiram Calloway Underwood and her mother was Mariah Jane Sprowls. Her paternal grandparents were Calloway Underwood and Mary Ann "Polly" Oaks. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Jerry B., John Thomas, Joel D., Mary Elizabeth, Caroline M. and Nannie White. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 75 on February 26th, 1943 in Hodgensville, LaRue Co., KY. She was buried on February 28th, 1943 in Maple Cemetery, Taylor Co., KY.-
