Hiram Calloway Underwood 
Hiram Calloway was born on April 24th, 1842 in Maple, Green Co., KY. Hiram Calloway's father was Calloway Underwood and his mother was Mary Ann "Polly" Oaks. His paternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John R., Greenberry, Calloway T., Robert T., Celia, Jane, Mary Ann "Polly", Nancy E., Caroline and Harriet Susan. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 72 on September 17th, 1914 in Taylor Co., KY.-
