Nancy Jane was born on June 11th, 1854 in Taylor Co., KY.1 Nancy Jane's father was William G. Sprowls and her mother was Sarah "Sally" Underwood. Her maternal grandparents were William C. Underwood and Mariah J. Druin. She had four brothers and five sisters, named James Marion, William L., Robert, John Proctor, Ursula, Mariah Elizabeth, Mary, Alice and Ellen. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 83 on September 23rd, 1937 in LaRue Co., KY. She was buried in 1937 in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, LaRue Co., KY.1 -
