James Marion Sprowls 
James Marion was born on February 1st, 1851 in Taylor Co., KY.1 James Marion's father was William G. Sprowls and his mother was Sarah "Sally" Underwood. His maternal grandparents were William C. Underwood and Mariah J. Druin. He had three brothers and six sisters, named William L., Robert, John Proctor, Nancy Jane, Ursula, Mariah Elizabeth, Mary, Alice and Ellen. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 67 on March 27th, 1918 in Otter, LaRue Co., KY.1 -
