Atha Ellen was born on January 4th, 1895 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Atha Ellen's father was George Washington Skaggs and her mother was Pauline Etherton. Her paternal grandparents were Uriah Skaggs and Levina Bell. She had a brother named Felix Trude. She was the younger of the two children. She died at the age of 29 on July 9th, 1924 in LaRue Co., Kentucky. She was buried in Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
