Martha Rebecca Simmons 
Martha Rebecca was born on January 5th, 1857 in Terry, Orange, Texas. Martha Rebecca's father was Daniel Henry Simmons and her mother was Susanah Jemima Harris. Her maternal grandparents were Victor Nely Harris and Nancy Ann Netterville. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named William Nely, Thomas Henry, Charles Netterville, Daniel Ethen, Ann Sarah, Susannah Jemima (or Martha Rebecca), Rachel Elizabeth, Mary (or Sarah) Jane, Amanda Jane, Susanah Samantha, Henrieta Virginia and Victoria Aurelia. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 22 in 1879.1 -
