Amanda Jane Simmons 
Amanda Jane was born on March 15th, 1867 in Terry, Orange, Texas. Amanda Jane's father was Daniel Henry Simmons and her mother was Susanah Jemima Harris. Her maternal grandparents were Victor Nely Harris and Nancy Ann Netterville. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named William Nely, Thomas Henry, Charles Netterville, Daniel Ethen, Ann Sarah, Susannah Jemima (or Martha Rebecca), Martha Rebecca, Rachel Elizabeth, Mary (or Sarah) Jane, Susanah Samantha, Henrieta Virginia and Victoria Aurelia. She was the fourth youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 79 on March 12th, 1947.1 -
