Josie Iola was born on October 7th, 1910 in Portland , Multnomah County, OR. Josie Iola's father was Louis STARK and her mother was Maggie May (Margaret) SMITH. Her maternal grandparents were Joseph Eddy (Edward) SMITH and Nancy "Nannie" Elizabeth SCOTT. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles Eddy (Eddie), Leroy, Carl Louis "Bud", Margaret Louise and Nan Anita "Tiny". She was the second youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 19 on February 7th, 1930 in Portland , Multnomah County, OR. She was buried on February 9th, 1930 in Union Cemetery of Cedar Mill, Washington County, OR.1 General Notes
