Joseph Edward SKAGGS

Joseph Edward was born on July 6th, 1863 in Madison Co. MO. Joseph Edward's father was Joseph Erastus SKAGGS and his mother was Nancy Ann PETTERMAN. His paternal grandparents were Drury Thomas SKAGGS and Martha "Ann" MURRY. He had two brothers and a sister, named George Washington, Ulysses S. Grant and Elisabeth. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 83 on January 10th, 1947 in Flat River, Madison Co. MO. He was buried in Underwood Cemetery, Madison Co. MO.
