Sarah Ann Roberts 
Sarah Ann was born on April 23rd, 1838 in Rockingham Co, NC.1 Sarah Ann's father was Thomas Jefferson Roberts and her mother was Arrena Wortha Hopper. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Richard Polk, William Allen, Thomas Jefferson, Martha Jane, Nancy Susan, Matilda Frances, Eliza Virginia, Lucy Jane and Mariah Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 22 on April 22nd, 1861 in Rockingham Co, NC. She was buried in Thomas Roberts Family Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.1 1 General Notes
