Lucy Jane Roberts 
Lucy Jane was born on December 26th, 1847 in Price Twp, Rockingham Co, NC.1 Lucy Jane's father was Thomas Jefferson Roberts and her mother was Arrena Wortha Hopper. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Richard Polk, William Allen, Thomas Jefferson, Martha Jane, Sarah Ann, Nancy Susan, Matilda Frances, Eliza Virginia and Mariah Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 60 on June 17th, 1908 in Price, Rockingham Co, NC. She was buried in Thomas Roberts Family Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.1 1 General Notes
