Margaret Poley 
Margaret was born about 1531 in Badley, Suffolk, England.1 Margaret's father was Edmund Poley and her mother was Mirabelle Garneis. Her maternal grandparents were John Garneis and Elizabeth Sulyard. She had five brothers and six sisters, named John, Thomas, Edmond, Richard, Henry, Elizabeth, Dorothy, Anne, Constance, Jane and Mirabelle. She was the third youngest of the twelve children.-
