Pleasant Perkins

Pleasant was born in 1850 in Kentucky.¹ Pleasant's father was Stephen Perkins and his mother was Mary (Polly) Underwood. His maternal grandparents were Caleb Underwood and Elizabeth Wardrum. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, William, Stephen Allen, Caleb, James P. and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
