Mary (Polly) Underwood 
Mary, known as Polly, was born in 1820.1 Polly's father was Caleb Underwood and her mother was Elizabeth Wardrum. Her paternal grandparents were James Underwood and Keziah Powell Ogden. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Abraham, Younger, James, Joshua, Frances, Betsy and Martha 'Patsy'. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had a half-sister named Parthenia. She died at the age of 44 in 1864 in Taylor County, Kentucky.2 -
