Mary Frances PAYTON 
Mary Frances was born on December 14th, 1854 in Parke Co., Indiana.1 Mary Frances' father was Thomas PAYTON and her mother was Martha Ann STOUT. Her paternal grandparents were Anthony PAYTON and Margaret WALLINGFORD. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named James Anthony, William Harvey, George Washington, John A., Ora Whaley, James T., Omer Tilden, LaFollette, Sarah Jane, Nancy Alice and Rhoda Ellen. She died at the age of 67 on March 25th, 1922 in Parkville, Parke Co., Indiana. She was buried in Mt Moriah Cemetery, Parke Co., Indiana.1 1 General Notes

DEATH: Waveland Independent, March 31, 1922 -- Mrs. Jacob Collings died at her home (Parkville) Sunday morning about one o'clock. Death was due to pneumonia. Funeral services were held at Mt. Moriah, Tues. morning, burial in the cemetery nearby.
