Eleanor Jane McCubbin 
Eleanor was born in 1812 in Green County, Kentucky.1 Eleanor's father was Nicholas (Blind Nick) McCubbin and her mother was Elizabeth Bloyd. Her paternal grandparents were John Israel McCubbin and Sapho Lunnon; her maternal grandparents were John (The Old Patriarch) Bloyd Sr. and Mary Riggins. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Timberhead, John, Nicholas, William, Martha, Elizabeth and Lydia. She was the fourth oldest of the eight children.-
